Our teams use specialist tools and protective clothing - known as Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) - and utilise a raft of technologically advanced techniques and products to ensure total decontamination of the affected environment.
We tackle jobs such as homicides, suicides, unattended death scenes and mass fatality scene recovery and are skilled in bloodstain removal from any surface. Additionally, we are experienced and equipped to provide Disaster & Terrorism Response.
Trauma Scene Cleaning - also known as Trauma Scene Management - is a highly specialised discipline, requiring specific training, in-depth knowledge and awareness of the risks to both operatives and third parties. Trauma scenes can be defined as any clean-up involving human bodily fluids (i.e. blood-borne pathogens) usually as a result of unattended natural death, homicides, suicides or mass fatality.
We perceive each and every trauma clean-up as hazardous, and therefore only employ fully-trained and experienced operatives who carry out tried & tested treatments and procedures to strict guidelines as laid out within our own company documentation and UK legislation.
It is essential that the correct decontamination, removal & disposal procedures are adhered to in order to avoid any further contamination within - or outside of - the trauma scene itself. Pinnacle carries out fully-documented risk assessments prior to tackling any situation and continues to document all processes from initial decontamination through to the correct removal & disposal of any bio-hazardous waste or potentially infectious materials.
Blood-borne pathogens commonly found at trauma scene clean-ups, are micro-organisms within the blood itself. They present a high risk of contamination to any humans in the vicinity of a trauma scene and can cause serious disease - Hepatitis B Virus (HBV) and Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) are specific examples.
Pinnacle ensures that all and any potentially infectious materials are treated as a bio-hazard and disposed of correctly to legal guidelines in our capacity as licensed bio-hazardous waste removal & disposal specialists.
The Pinnacle Trauma Cleaning team will always provide legal documentation and certification so clients can prove they have taken all precautions and lived up to their own responsibilities of ensuring correct treatment and disposal of any potentially harmful substances.
